If you are having difficulty using our service, see if any of our FAQ’s can help get you on the right track!

There are a couple of reasons this could be the case:

1) You may have typed in an invalid email when you created your account (typos are the most common reason for not receiving a confirmation email!). Try to create the account again, paying particular attention to getting your email exactly right.

2) You added empty spaces or strange characters to your username. If you use simple characters in your username, without any spaces your problem may be resolved.

3) The verification email went to your Spam or Junk folder. Depending on which email program you use (aka Google, Yahoo, etc.), your email may send certain messages to your Spam or Junk mailboxes. Usually, you can click on these mailboxes and find the verification email that TheraSpeak sent to you.

4) Your email program is set up to ‘totally block’ all emails from TheraSpeak. Most email programs have security settings that try to prevent you from receiving potentially dangerous emails. Often, you can change the settings in your email program to allow messages from small companies like TheraSpeak. A quick Google search of your email program including the words ‘security settings’ should provide you with a solution to the problem.

If you have successfully clicked on the link sent to you in the verification email you receive when creating your account, you should be able to login to the website and play the games there.

If you are having trouble doing this, there are a number of potential solutions.

1) Make sure you log in using the username (not email address!) you chose when creating your account. Do not login using your email address.

2) Make sure there are no empty spaces in your username of password, empty spaces should never be used in computer login information 

3) Make sure you are typing your username and password just as you set them up. Case matters. For example, if your username is ‘MaryJohnson’, then you cannot login using the username ‘maryjohnson’ because it is not capitalized the same as the username you originally chose.

4) You may have forgotten your password. You can always click on the Forgot Password button on the main screen to change your password. Just follow the instructions provided when you click on the button. It is a good idea to WRITE DOWN your password so that you have a record of it in case you forget.

While we strive to maintain compatibility with all modern web browsers (Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Edge), it is possible that your browser or browser settings will not be compatible with our websites.

Always make sure your computer is connected to the internet. The program downloads images as needed by the program so it requires a working internet connection.

If you are having trouble accessing the THERAPIST website:

1) Because the TheraSESSION program requires your camera/microphone so you can talk to us live, you may need to give your web-browser permission to access your camera and microphone. This can be done from the ‘Settings’ or ‘Site Settings’ screen in most modern browsers.

2) Try reloading the web-page.

3) Try using a different web browser (we recommend Google Chrome for best results).

4) Try running your browser in INCOGNITO mode (this will force reload of previously cached files).

5) Try using a different computer.

If you are having trouble accessing the TheraPRACTICE website:

1) Try reloading the web-page.
